I have been long teasing the husband to let me show his talent in playing the basketball as he always told me that he used to be a member and a star player?! of their basketball team when he was in high school then. Oh well, I guess men in general are really sports fanatics and so it goes for some women out there too. DH would often be glued on TV watching his favorite basketball team Lakers and if he has time and money he’d love to reserve for basketball tickets to watch it live as he says that the feeling is very much different whenever you are physically present there.

So he is really aiming to visit some of his relatives in the US by next year and wanted to watch them live and hope to see other basketball teams play as well. Watching TV is a struggle for us in the house as kids wouldn’t want to let us touch that dial especially whenever they are watching cartoons. They could even laze around the whole day being glued on TV, I would just let them if there’s nothing much to do, especially on Gabby but she has to keep off the tube when it’s time to do her homework and study and that goes for Nicco as well when e starts schooling in June but there are times that DH really wanted to insist watching and get updates on mma fights and so the rumble begins. lol! He really has this thing watching UFC and I in return couldn’t get to watch it for long for I find it really physical or was it just being me a girl and thinks its a boys thing. Whatever it is, his passion for sports is a good thing instead on wasting time on nonsense stuffs like drinking sessions w/ friends, smoking, etc.

I remember our late FIL who used to witness the said event yearly then, He said that it is a must see event as many people from different countries were participating too. This horse racing event even entails him to always get the latest Melbourne Cup Form Guide and place his bet. DH was very eager to fly to Australia to see and witness it too as he is also a fanatic of horse racing here in our country and watching it would definitely be one of his most treasured experience.

Gone were the days when we literally have to wait the long queue of lines just to get tickets to our favorite shows, movies and sports. One thing I noticed about DH is his weight. He’s getting bigger and bigger each day. LOL! I think he needs dome recreational activity aside from his usual day to day activity in which I think have kept him so used to it that whatever he does would not make any difference with his weight issues aside from the fact the he, err… both of us eats a lot! calories are stuck up and needs to be burn. He asks me to research on the net where I could find some cheap airsoft guns that he will be needing since he’s going out next weekend with his friends to try out and will be competing with other set of friends the paintball game. We used to have one before but it was kinda old already I dont think it will function well. Oh well, hope he continues doing this healthy physical activity.
