My Online World

As I look back to what had transpired the previous year, all things- good and bad experiences will serve as a lesson for us. I am looking forward to this new year with positivity and good vibes. Making room for improvement and  opportunities for the betterment of myself and family. I wish this year will be a good one for us in all aspects of our lives. May the good Lord continue to shower us with more blessings, good health and more opportunities work-wise (online and offline). I hope you will still continue to join me in as I go through my journey in My Online World! Best wishes to us all for 2012!

Finally, I got the chance to go online and update this blog The past week was all about doing some rush on so many things- preparations on the kids Christmas program, going over costumes, buying of gifts, review sessions for their exams, etc. DH and I getting sick a week prior to that added pressure on those things. But we’re so glad that we were able to deliver on all of them.

Last Friday, DH was the one who took over in taking care of the kids on attending their Christmas party. Taking a leave from work is not just possible for me. Kids were at their happiest as they get to bring home lots of goodies from the party.

I bumped into a previous co-worker on my way home last week, we had a little conversation as we wait for a transport  while it was raining hard. She told me that our her boss will be having a retirement party and  all of the previous employees of the company are invited to attend. The boss will be migrating abroad to join his whole family who lives there as he retires. We agreed for a second meet up to buy some food for retirement party while we catch up on each other’s lives as well. We can’t help but go through and remember  our experiences while working with him, he’s strict but not too hard on us. I learned a lot from his way of handling and teaching us in doing our jobs. He would always remind us to enjoy our work and learn from it, not just work for the sake of “working” as he says. I will miss the boss! I wish him luck and he definitely need to enjoy the fruits of all his hard work all these years.

Finally, the little girl’s 7th birthday celebration took place last Saturday. All the hard work and sleepless nights paid off as we saw happiness in her, priceless laughter while watching the magic show and enjoys the attention she is getting with all the singing and greetings for her. I am really thankful for the labor of love that our family has given in support to giving the little girl’s a wonderful birthday celebration.Some of my expected visitors Little girl’s god parents didn’t come, though the little girl really wish for them to celebrate with us. The party still turned out well and kids really had a blast. It was most of DH’s friend who came, they were able to catch with each other. We were surprised to see his buddy on his good built, he pays credit to the best creatine supplement that he’s taking for a more fast result in his physique and he really looks good and healthy.

Summer month is already here, but we still have the cold weather especially during at night. We will be having some travel activities for the summer and if the plans pushes through, we will be going to beach by the Holy week or attend a birthday celebration of DH’s uncle in province. As a preparation for the travel, the transportation vehicle that we will be using will undergo a motorhome repair and maintenance check up to make sure that we’ll have a safe and smooth travel.On the last week of the month will be DD’s 7th birthday and we’ll be paying next week for the host magician and the tarpaulin. We can’t wait.
