Weekend Activity

Written by on May 22, 2011 – 9:14 pm -

It has been a busy work week for me and I thought that I will be having a laid back weekend but I was wrong. A pile of online task awaits for me as I checked my email late Friday night. Glad that I was able to manage juggling on the household chores while I catch up on doing some articles for posting in between. Multi-tasking at its finest eh. I Good thing that it’s now easy to manage the kids and dealing with their needs and request while I was busy working is no longer a hard thing for all of us.

What keeps them busy?! I did brought out the little boy’s activity book that was given to him by his Tita Irma a couple of month’s ago.

The story-sticker book about people, places and things kept them busy. They did enjoy building out the community by putting up a quality built manufactured homes  through  the 100 pieces reusable paper and vinyl stickers  to complete the scene on pages. It is indeed an effective way to help them enjoy and a recreational activity too instead of doing the cartoon marathon in which has been a boring thing for them lately.

School Opening

Written by on May 17, 2011 – 9:54 pm -

The opening of classes for school year 2011-2012 is just a couple of weeks away, but I could still see some nursing students in their Cherokee scrubs every morning on their way to school for their summer class, looks like they will be extending their class up until the first week of June as I heard from one of the students. For our kids, we are not yet done with the shopping of the school supplies as we are still waiting for some funds before we can proceed to it. I just really don’t know how to keep things within our budget limit, the cost of the little girl’s books is around $150. I hope to win in the lottery so that I can pay all their educational expenses at once. :)

These are the latest photo of my kids taken last February 11 before they went to DS’ school for their Valentine’s party and family day. Little girl will be turning  seven years old this April and dear son will  be four this May. They are really growing up and starting to learn things on their own. They won’t be needing any acne cream for now because they got baby face and skin still, a few more years maybe when they reach their teenage years. lol!.By then they would start to explore more on life and we would still be here to constantly guide and support them along the way with God’s grace and guidance.

Turning Six

Written by on April 25, 2010 – 7:17 am -

My little girl will be turning six come Tuesday, April 27. There will be no grand celebration though I hope and wish she  could have one next year for her 7th birthday. We hope we could take both of the kids in a Disney vacations as I know this is a part of every child’s wish. Knowing Gabby, she will be delighted to see her favorite characters in person as she adores Disney characters so much. Time really flies so fast that she’s:

  • going to elementary next school year
  • having permanent teeth eruption already. She’s been asking me if tooth fairy is real :D
  • growing independently and more mature for her age.
  • having crushes already lol! She never misses an episode of “Momoo and me “in TV5 and likes Oscar  (John Prats that is!) to bits :D
  • so into make ups and  accessories instead of toys whenever we ask her what she wants.
  • still into reading books

She just requested a cake on her birthday and DH will cook a carbonara on Tuesday.
