Job Hunt
Written by on December 27, 2010 – 6:03 am -I am pleased that our youngest brother is now being responsible enough to look for a job, it has been years already since he was just hanging around the house and going out with his friends. Now with a little push and inspiration, he was able to pull it through and got one of those merchandiser jobs that he applied in. He started yesterday, a day after Christmas. Good thing he was over the holiday mode and was on his mood to get going on his new work. Now he has something to look forward to for a more brighter 2011, career wise. Break a leg bro!
Finding a new Job
Written by on September 19, 2010 – 3:44 am -I was able to talk to my brother over at FB, oh yes, that’s the right place if you want to find where he is! lol! Every time time I checked on my account, I would always new status updates from his wall! Ahaha. I asked him about his plans now that he is about to end on his working contract now. He told me that he’s still in the process of looking for a new one but still got no prospective company yet. I told him to just browse over at health care job listings on the net and he’ll sure be able to find a new one. I myself was able to get my present job now through online jobsites, it is much convenient because you can save on time, money and energy as you need not waste money traveling one place to another hoping to get an interview and end up only submitting your resumes and get an “we’ll call you” answer from them. You can even get to research the company you want to apply with and see its company info and see the benefit they offer to job applicants.
Freeze The Time Please
Written by on April 25, 2010 – 1:08 pm -As I want to just laze around and feel this relaxing moments that rarely happens to me.
I was done and over with the household chores and the kids are now in bed for their afternoon nap. I’d love to join them later after I finish some of my online works.
I am really hoping to become a wahm mom soon so I’ll be able to take care of my kids 24/7. I’m beginning to dislike my day job now or maybe because I am getting bored with the routines already, I don’t really know. If only I could find excuse so I don’t have to report to work tomorrow! lol. Monday is my least favorite day of the week as it is the time where I need to follow up my pending orders to our suppliers like the color printing for our business cards needed to be distributed to our customers as we have made changes to our company address and phone numbers and some other clerical stuffs that needs to be done. If I could only freeze the time.
but still tomorrow is another day!
Finally
Written by on April 17, 2010 – 1:59 am -The stressful week is over. I have been mentioning many times already how I am really stressed out the past few days, glad that my favorite days (weekend) have arrived and that I can take some time to relax and take things slow. Though I have some pending online works to finish in which I don’t find stressful as it’s not physically exhausting as my day job because traveling is one root cause why I wanted to transfer and look for some other jobs that wont require any traveling or going out of the office as part of the job description. With the kind of weather we have now, my health is always at risk whenever I go out the office due to fluctuating temperature that we are experiencing. Been searching and subscribing to online job alerts wherein I have my resumes on their system for an easy submission and application. All I need is to update it and add up other job qualifications that maybe helpful. Good luck to me and hope to find a job that would really be suitable for me.
Job Hunting
Written by on April 24, 2009 – 6:57 pm -Now that we are in global economic crisis, we witnessed many people who lost their jobs. Being jobless is really a very stressful thing to deal with, and now that classes are over, millions of JOB HUNTERS who just recently graduated are now trying their very best to get employed. And in this situation one must be able to grab the opportunity that comes his way but if and when luck seems so elusive, you can opt to try and do LIGHTSHIP RESEARCH, wherein they can help you find and land a better job like this man who just got so lucky, read on his testimonials:
I spent a month uploading my resume to job boards, filling out on-line job applications and sending resumes and cover letters to recruiters and I did not receive one call for an interview. None of them even have phone numbers. I have a house, two kids in college, three cars and I was burning, even being frugal, $15,000 a month. I felt like I was helpless and free falling. I lost my job as the President of a medium size consumer products company, when the parent sold my division to an Indian conglomerate. The strategist that I worked with Lightship Research http://www.lightshipresearch.c
om had me in direct discussions with the owners and principals of private equity firms within two weeks. It took 56 days until I was gainfully employed and 68 days until I received my first paycheck. I truly believe that if I hadn’t hired these guys I would still be looking for a job. In fact, I may hire them to be a research resource for my new firm. Thanks! J. Holt, CT
