With the economic problems that our country had been long facing, many of our fellow countrymen have decided to seek greener pasture to other countries. There are many deciding factors to consider like budget, time, schedule, kids education, etc.

I used to remember during my childhood days when people would ask me what I want to become when I grow up? Even at school, there are times in one of our subjects where we were asked to dress up to our choice of community helpers/ careers activities. There is only one common answer from all us kids then, mostly are healthcare professionals like doctors or nurses. Healthcare profession back then have the most favorable feedbacks in terms of career and advancement. But as we move forward and have reached this point of digital/technology age, many have diverted their careers and jumped into the IT professionals bandwagon.

There was this instance that started in year 2000 when there was increase in demand for nurses abroad, many have tried their luck and searched for Traveling Jobs for Nurses then. We even heard and read news about our local doctors then who studied nursing just so they could apply for a nursing jobs abroad. It became a hot issue then as many have raised their opinions regarding the said healthcare career issue. It all boils down to economic problems and attaining a medical degree from a reputable maedical school then. No doubt that having a good and flourishing nursing careers can be proven by a lot of our fellow countrymen who are now based abroad and are living proof  that most are earning a decent salary and their medical career advanced as well.

Job Requirement

Written by on February 13, 2011 – 1:42 am -

My family came over to greet and treat me, we had some sort of post birthday celebration courtesy of mom. yey! It was indeed a great family day for us, though we are not complete as my father and kid brother were not able to come. My father opted to stay home since no one will look after the house, my brother on the other hand was busy complying with some of his job requirement- paper requisites like school credentials, SSS and TIN numbers. He also need to undergo medical check up and need to pass drug test before going to his final interview next week. Hopefully he pass with flying colors and be able to settle and at least find security in the job position that he’s applying for.

Finding a job nowadays entails a lot of requirements before you can be hired. It cost a lot nowadays when you go on job hunting. You need to prepare for food, travel and other miscellaneous expenses. There are lot of things that you have to consider when you go  and look for a job, but earning a living doesn’t come the easy way, so we must all take extra care and love our job.

Career Shift

Written by on January 30, 2011 – 2:53 am -

I just got an email from a jobsite informing me about some job openings from different companies. I forgot to unsubscribe to their feeds when I got hired from the company where I am working now. I remember looking for some banking jobs then since I think it is the best job related to the course (Banking and Finance) that I took up in college. But I ended working in a computer related company.lol! I guess I need to stick with my work right now but still have plans for a career shift in the near future where I can still make use and apply the degree I earned. I am hoping and praying for that to really happen.

Giving a good impression is the first step towards a successful job interview. You need to look best in order for you to create a nice first impression. Dressing up properly I think is the first basis on how the interviewer will rate you. To ladies, take note of the attire that you need to wear- it doesn’t really need to be a designer’s suit just to say that you have the perfect one, comfort is the key so you’ll look relaxed during the interview.

  • Choose on the dark tones of clothes,  to make it look professional and avoid loud colors.
  • Avoid using dangling earrings or too many jewelries
  • A nice pair of shoes

  • well trimmed nails
  • Business suit
  • you may wear a pantyhose  and you can check out some compression stockings online for wide variety of choices that suits your needs.
