Christmas Party
Written by on October 30, 2011 – 2:57 pm -I did not joined DH and the kids last night as they watch horror TV programs. I think I am getting more of a scary cat now that I am old. Ahaha! I slept early ahead of them!
Now that Halloween is almost (tomorrow actually) over. We are so looking forward to the Christmas holidays. Kids got a lot of Christmas Party Invitations as early as last month. I, on the other hand, is busy preparing the gift lists for everyone (friends, kid’s teachers and classmates, relatives, god children). I hope that I can order some DIY gifts over at Artscow and avail some of the free credits in my account. So our jolly holiday mode is ON!

Holiday Vacation
Written by on July 3, 2011 – 9:52 am -
Dear husband and her sister received holiday invitations from their sister who is based in Australia a few months ago for a much anticipated sibling reunion. We were all happy for them because they rarely get to see each other complete, most of the time one was not able to make it due to conflict in schedule. DH can’t contain his excitement as it is his first time to visit the Oz and he can’t wait to go to the snowy mountain. For somebody who has lived all his life in a tropical country, a cold and snowy weather for that matter is an experience worth to cherish. He’s been all geared up for their winter party too. The only downside is that we were not able to join them in their trip. Nonetheless, we are so happy for them and oh, we have just finished talking to them via skype as they have touchdown Oz.

Written by on December 12, 2010 – 6:53 am -We are done wrapping our Company’s Christmas giveaways to our valued customers but the boss informed us that we still need some more gifts as the ones that we wrapped are not enough to cover all on the lists of of our customers. We were asked on other ideas that we could give for promo gifts. I did some research on the net and saw this nice drawstring bags on usimprints.com
Having our company logo on these nice bags will definitely draw attention among other potential customers. The designs and quality is perfect material gifts and a sure hit. Hope that we would be able to deliver right in time as it’s just a couple of week’s away before our holiday vacation.
Holiday Food Feast
Written by on December 12, 2010 – 6:00 am -It’s 13 days to go before Christmas and yet all of my jeans doesn’t fit me anymore. lol! Blame it all for all the foods and goodies, especially chocolates that we have received as early presents from relatives and friends abroad. Been eating a lot on some holiday recipes that DH is trying around for the foods we will share on the Christmas day itself. Dieting is not on my list as of the moment but I will resume on it by next year. Ahaha! Will probably put that on the top of my New year’s resolution for the year 2011. LOL! So by then, will start to look around on some herbal slimming pills to take which I think would be very effective since it has no side effects unlike other pills that are available in the market today.
Electricity and Energy Tips on Christmas Lights
Written by on December 2, 2010 – 10:15 am -Been receiving text messages from Meralco on some tips and tidbits about electricity conservation this holiday season especially on Christmas lights:
- Use only Christmas lights that were tested and approved safe by the Bureau of Products and Standards.
- Don not put them on one socket only to avoid overload.
- Blinking Christmas lights often consume less energy than those non-blinking lights.
- Proper maintenance. Inspect them yearly for bare spots or gaps in the insulation.
- Turn them off and other electrical Christmas decors before sleeping.
