A Haircut

I was finally able to had a haircut yesterday after office hours, dropped by to the nearest salon on my way home. I’ve been meaning to have it cut for the longest time already. The upper part of my hair doesn’t look presentable already as its kinda curly and messy looking, weren’t able to get the chance to get some treatment when I had my hair rebonded a year ago. Another reason is that I’ve been experiencing hair loss too, a friend suggested that I need to get some testosterone cream as I might have a low testosterone level already. It led me to thinking of paying a visit to my OB doctor for a consultation regarding this matter, I don’t know if its also a sign and symptoms of PCOS. My hair now is dull looking and dry, but much better than sporting a long hair.

I recently saw a dear friend and classmate back during college days and was really surprised and couldn’t recognized her as she really lost a lot of weight and was in good and proportionate body. Couldn’t felt but be envious as I find it impossible to get back into my previous shape. It’s really nice to catch up with your friends whom you didn’t get to see for quite sometime as the bonding of friendship grows even more now. We were all teasing her about her secret on losing weight, we all thought that she just have been following a strict diet plans or what but she later on divulged that she underwent the knife with some Chicago liposuction surgeons when she went abroad. She works as a part time model and she had a hard time on losing weight when she gave birth to a child hence the decision to go for it, it was indeed a brave more for her because I couldn’t see myself doing that because I am really afraid going under the knife, but to each his own. I see how happy and confident she is now and that’s what matter most.

I just recently saw my classmate in elementary over at Facebook, it’s been almost twenty years since we last saw each other. I never imagined that we will be able to bridge the communication just like that. The wonders of technology that is! I was teasing her that she still looks radiantly the same as some twenty years ago, she used to be our muse during certain occasions like intrams, beauty contests etc..etc.. A relative of DH just came over for a few weeks vacation, the last time we saw her was five years ago. But all was surprised to see a radiant look of her, it’s as if she didn’t age. “How will you face your problem if your problem is your face?” Sounds funny and familiar right?! I bet many of us have heard this at one point or another in our everyday life. Just like my niece who often gets teased by her friends because of acne breakout. Being young and so conscious, it definitely makes a big deal out of her and it really affects her mood most of the time. There are times that she doesn’t want to attend parties and socialize around as her stubborn pimples adds up to her insecurity. But we do advise her that it is just normal to pass such pimple stage as she’s still young and she would probably outgrown those in a matter of time.
