Growing Up Some Fruit Trees

Written by on August 11, 2011 – 4:46 am -

I grew up living in the city where most of the things I see are tallest buildings, establishments and smoky vehicles around me. So seeing my parents hometown the first time we visited was a great experience for me. I am so amazed to see the wonderful scenery in the province, everything is almost green when you look around. Trees, flowers, sea, river, animals, etc.. Added the fact that the air is so clean and refreshing. The simplicity of lifestyle caught me so I dreamed off that one day, I‘ll be living in such a nice and quiet place like that. I would be investing in some business that caters to growing some fruit trees there.

It is one effective and productive kind of business that most people living in the rural area does. Without having to leave the simple and clean living lifestyle, you can grow some apple trees or cherry tree in a productive land, nurture it and you can see all the fruits of your labor in a couple of years’ time. It also pays to contribute in keeping a safe and healthy environment when you go with some fruit bearing trees type of business instead of putting up some industrial ones.

One of the effective way in decorating and beautifying your home is to go the natural way. Having a garden is a nice idea, you can allot even a small space and put up some little plants and flowers. Our mini garden upon the main entrance of house was finally able to get a makeover last year, We were able to have the garden sets and plant stands repainted. DH did the trimming of the plants and grass at the back garden.

Gardening In Our Home Using The Hydroponic Systems

Written by on August 27, 2010 – 5:03 am -

Gardening has been my hidden passion since I was young, growing up in a place where I can only see tall buildings and plenty of cars among the busy streets of the city keeps me amazed whenever I go to province, where you can abundantly saw lots of green fields and animals anywhere. I even dreamed of living in such places where it is far from the pollution and keeps you more closer to the nature. But of course, reality bites and we all need to face that one thing or another, I have to deal with my city life where life is more comfortable and fast paced as they say.

Thinking of ways and means where I could still renew that passion of mine, little by little we were able to allot a space for gardening in our home, my late FIL is the one who maintains it then where all of us are busy with work. It’s really cool to have garden where you feel close to nature at the comfort of your homes. We are now thinking of adding a hydroponic systems into our indoor gardening where we could cultivate plants in a nutrient rich solution rather than soil. The advancement of technology has indeed taken its toll on the planting industry.

On a personal note, this will make my hobby of gardening more realistic as there are few advantages that we could get out of growing plants through the hydroponics: The wide availability of vegetables, plants and herbs are of reach-all we need is the hydroponics gardening supplies. Space- as we’ve said we can culture it at the comfort of our own homes. Less maintenance- where all we need is a good hydroponics system and maintaining it after is manageable already as it would need less water and you will have full control over pest and other diseases of the plants if there are as it is indoor based and soil less.

Our Dream Garden

Written by on March 3, 2010 – 10:14 am -

I did mention before about our garden makeover project but it has been put off for a while as we need to take care of other important expenses to look into and that is our kids tuition fee for the next school year. My eldest is about to go to big school and my boy on his start to preschool.  We need to raise enough funds to cover it up plus the other miscellaneous expenses like books, uniforms, school things, etc… But plan will push thru by mid this year and as early as now, I am looking for some greenhouse accessories that we could buy for the project.

We really  wanted to put up a garden greenhouse, it has been our long time dream to have one. Since our garden is wide enough to have one, might as well maximize the space to its full use. Added to that is the would be nice and healthy environment that we would have once we we’re done putting it up. A very nice and therapeutic hobby is about to unfold with this. Isn’t it nice that you’ll get to grow plants and vegetables at the very heart of your home?!

Outdora is offering different and on the top of the line green houses, wherein it will fit your budget as it is very affordable plus very easy to set up and doesn’t require the help of the professionals. A nice Flowerhouse Greenhouse would be nice too as  it will definitely put life to our garden  upon seeing different vibrant colors. of the flowers. And these flowerhouses from outdora has protection that will keep off insects and animals to harm and destroy your lovely flowers as they have  zippered doors and screen vent windows, they are 100% waterproof and features rip stop protection, and it is also easy to set up just like the other types of greenhouses.
