Nowadays, one must be practical enough in so many ways to be able to make ends meet. Financial wise, we must ensure that every money spent is worthy of its value. Now I understand my parents’ predicaments when I was still studying and in my college years then, they kept on reminding me to study hard and value the hard earned money that they spent for my education. Now that I am a parent myself, I know how it feels to be in their place.

Sending kids to school nowadays costs a lot, tuition fees are sky rocketing, miscellaneous expense alone is another thing. That is why we kept on reminding my niece who stopped schooling for awhile and about to return to school to make sure of the course that she wants to take, so as not waste another time and money. I di encourage her to just take a beauty course in a school nearby with the likes of Regency Beauty Institute where she can polish the  creative side of her since she was into cosmetics lately. Aside from the fact that it would be easy for her to look into a job after studying since there are a lot of demands when it comes to beauty course graduates.

I took up a Business course in college while I dream of working  in some banks or other financial institutions after graduation. But just like other sad stories, I end up working far from what I have majored in. Not that I am complaining though, but I have high hopes then that I will end up  with my dream job. Reality bites and I guess I just have to live what life has to offer to me. I am just thankful that I have found another extra income that even pays up twice than my regular day job. Lucky strikes at its finest ! Just like a dear friend who are going abroad to to take up some beauty and wellness course in a cosmetology school in Phoenix where she could finally get the chance to enhance her skills when it comes to make ups and other beauty products. So happy for her that she’s doing good and enjoying her work as well.

Aside from buying products that treat acne I am in the process now of coping up with my lost sleeps as I try not to stay up late at night, I am actually at the dreamland around 9:00 pm. For as along as I am done reading my emails and I don’t have any tasks to do online, I do shut down the PC and have some quality time with the kids. This I think helps a lot in gaining back a smooth and pimple free face, aside from drinking lots of water too.

Getting enough sleep means a lot to our health in order for us to perform well. I can really felt the difference.

Negative effects of having lack of sleep includes:

• dizziness spells
• physical exhaustion,
• decrease in mental alertness
• heart palpitations
• becoming easily stressed out.

These are all  based on my personal experiences which I would like to avoid doing so in the future to avoid any health problems. If and when its really necessary to stay up late, I find ways to still keep healthy ways especially on food intake and I drink vitamins too.

We’ll be going to a birthday party on Wednesday, it will be a grand party for DH’s uncle as he just turned sixty years old. He doesn’t have any idea that all of of his kids based abroad will be going home to as a surprise birthday gift for him. DH’ s cousin has been constantly communicating with us through Facebook and been convincing me to try my luck abroad as she always share with us her success story in being involved in the  fashion industry there. She said that she is now taking some beauty course in cosmetology school in Orange Park as she will be doing a part time job for a production company involving in cosmetics. The Regency Beauty Institute is said to be known as the fastest growing beauty school in the US and been getting good feedback among the business sector there.
