On Playing With Musical Instruments

Written by on January 28, 2012 – 11:14 pm -

Nurturing the kid’s natural talent is important for them to be able to show off or express themselves well. Aside from playing as their activity during spare time, enrolling them into recreational activity classes like sports, voice lessons, art related works etc. is a good and healthy activity for them to explore and discover their full potential.

So when our daughter told us that she wanted to learn playing musical instrument this summer. DH suggested enrolling her into piano lesson. So off we went to a musical store to look around for a piano. We found kurzweil sp4-8 piano with lots of enhanced feature and of quality in terms of sound. I myself used to dream of learning to play the piano but for some reasons, it didn’t push through.  I hope that dear daughter will remain her passion for it.

Written by on January 28, 2012 – 1:14 am -

One of the places that we visited during dear son’s educational field trip was  the Seri Fantasy World located at the Manila Ocean Park in Luneta, Manila.

Photos below are taken from the trick art museum where there’s  a gallery of 3Dimensional art freehand paintings. I am glad that DS happily obliged whenever I asked him to pose with these different artworks.

Promotional Products

Written by on January 27, 2012 – 1:58 pm -

One effective marketing strategy  and communication tool that every business company could take is through the use of Promotional Products to reach out to their target markets to make themselves known and of their products and services that they offer. They are effectively used during product launch, company events, conferences, trade shows and exhibits.

Below are some examples of them that I received from different companies during events and activities that I attended:

PC220023

A tumbler that was given to me as a Christmas giveaway from our very own company.

A ballpen and screw kit given away during a channel conference that I attended late last year. There were even lots of other giveaways given during the games like LED TV, USB flash drives, shirts, bags, towel, gift checks, etc. all of them bearing different logos of the companies that sponsored the event.

… and recently, a bag tag given away during dear son’s educational filed trip last Wednesday.

All of the products above have logos imprinted on them for the customers and their target market to remember. These are useful types of commercial products that are also beneficial. I so love the tumbler that even my kids would  love to sip their juice using it. :) The screw kit are used by DH whenever he does something for his electrical and mechanical needs. The bag tags can be used by the kids next year for easy identification (with their name, telephone, address and section written) just in case it got lost.

Other people also do collect such products as a hobby. Giving it a good market value in due time. Brand awareness is the main key factor for giving such products that offer that also benefits the company in terms of sales, profit and creating their own identity known to the public.

Don’t Let Price Fool You

As you search for the best service to use, there are several things you should be aware of. First of all, not all sites are the same. Some cost money and some are free, but you shouldn’t let the price fool you. Paying a small fee every month (usually around $10), can help keep your files more secured and give you more features.

Stay Away From Sites With Hidden Fees

The biggest thing that customers run into, when choosing an online faxing service, is the service’s hidden fees. Even sites that you think are free may be costing you money. It is important to stay away from sites like this to ensure safety and effective use of your money. You can guarantee your safety by reading reviews and the website’s terms of service.

Read Reviews

In order to prevent yourself from choosing a less than trustworthy site, it is a good idea to read reviews from a variety of places. Often times, these review sites can tell you more about the company you are considering than what the company’s website tells you. These reviews can help you to know if there are any hidden fees in the site you are looking into and to make sure it is completely secure.

After using a company for a while, you can even post your own reviews about your experience.

Know the Tricks When Sending Online Faxes

If you are looking to send quality and easy to read faxes, there are several tricks to make documents more readable for the person on the receiving end. Here are some tips to send higher quality documents:

  • Use a plain white background.
  • Use black text.
  • Use a larger font size such as 12 or 14.
  • Use a standard sized page with a portrait layout.
  • Scan documents in the proper direction instead of upside down.
  • Make sure the resolution allows the document to be easily read.

It is important that you don’t rule out certain sites simply because they cost money. You may find that online faxing with Metrofax or with other affordable sites gives you what you need without a hassle.
