I am not really into attending formal occasions because I m not that confident wearing formal dresses. I am used to wearing casual clothes even in attending some formal events. Hehe.

Early next year, we will be attending DH’s niece church wedding. So we really have to go for formal attire for the said occasion. I need to look around for some tuxedo studs  that will go along on DH’s formal pair. The kids and I will be going for a customized formal clothes by a designer specializing on wedding dresses. 

Finally, I got the chance to go online and update this blog The past week was all about doing some rush on so many things- preparations on the kids Christmas program, going over costumes, buying of gifts, review sessions for their exams, etc. DH and I getting sick a week prior to that added pressure on those things. But we’re so glad that we were able to deliver on all of them.

Last Friday, DH was the one who took over in taking care of the kids on attending their Christmas party. Taking a leave from work is not just possible for me. Kids were at their happiest as they get to bring home lots of goodies from the party.

Last weekend was the only chance we got in dressing up our house for the holidays. DH’s sister set up the Christmas Belen in our mini-garden in front of our house. Kids help up in putting up some Christmas balls in the tree too. It is really fun doing the Christmas decors for the house. It makes our house more lively with all those bling-blings! We noticed that we need some new door kick plates as the one we have are old and in not so good condition already. Hope to find a nice design that will complement with our holiday dress up mode for the house if there’s any. If not, we’ll go for the typical ones that will be match our home style.

DH’s sister went to Hongkong a couple of months ago for a company outing. Of course we were given presents upon her return. At first, I thought those coins were Golden Eagle gold bullion, the ones that are being sought by coin collectors for it’s high value and rarity. But then again, those were just golden coated wrap chocolates. LOL! I like those lucky charms ath the background.
