I don’t know how S and his siblings (previous occupants of the room) were able to find comfort in a leaking ceiling and a floor that badly needs some fix here and there.
DH and I were just waiting for some funds and we’ll proceed with the room makeover probably in a couple of months more. We already had some construction materials and supplies needed that we bought few months ago. But DH wants to invest on some other machinery that we will be needing for the renovation. Since the floor needs the most tinkering , a floor grinder is necessary for the granite polishing to produce the smoothest-looking surfaces of the floor.
A carpet removal is also needed, for the easy removal of the vinyl flooring that was previously installed on the floors and now really looks awful but removing it manually is hard so a nice machine to work for that will be a big help. Finally a concrete floor polishing for the maintaining its shine and floor care.
