good night’s rest is absolutely vital to good health, as it helps promote overall brain function and physical performance. Setting aside time to get sufficient and restful sleep should be a daily priority. It’s also important to have a high quality mattress that offers sufficient sleeping space such as the space available on a double bed.

Nowadays, people are simply not getting enough sleep. Most people blame their lack of sleep on a hectic schedule and claim they don’t have time to get the recommended 8 hours of daily rest. In fact, a recent study conducted by the National Sleep Foundation revealed that only 23% of adults get between 7 and 8 hours of sleep on weekdays. Among those who took the poll, 61% sleep 7 hours or less on weekdays, and the remaining 16% sleep more than 8 hours on weekdays.

While scheduling time for sleep is essential to optimal mind and body performance, so is finding a quiet and comfortable space to rest. No matter how much time you devote to getting rest, sleeping on a low quality, cramped mattress will only result in long nights of tossing and turning. Don’t lose another precious moment where you could be sleeping to an uncomfortable, small bed. Upgrade to a double bed and make the most of your downtime.

With so many mattress options to choose from, including pocket spring, memory foam and latex, just to name a few, so there’s no doubt you will be able to find a mattress that suits your needs and comfort level. Just be warned that once you have found a bed that’s spacious and cozy, those items on your to-do list might have to wait a while.
