On Loving Ourselves

Written by on November 19, 2009 – 3:42 am -

The more self-love we have, the less we will experience self-abuse. Self-abuse comes from self-rejection, and self-rejection comes from having an image of what it means to be perfect and never measuring up to that ideal. Our image of perfection is the reason we reject ourselves the way we are, and why we don’t accept others the way they are.

A Fruitful Hobby

Written by on November 18, 2009 – 4:26 pm -

One of the many perks that goes along while enjoying your hobby is getting to realize that you can earn money out of it. It goes with the saying like “Find a job that you enjoy and you’ll never work for another day” . Coin collectors are one of them, just like my father who has been one since he was young. He was really passionate about rare coins that he really took the effort and did some research and careful study about it. I remember seeing those in our cabinet and was really amazed when I saw the dates on the coins. He’s now trying to find a good deal wherein he can find more of those silver dollar that he wanted to add up on his collections and see if he could trade it in the near future. Monaco I think is a great place for him to do business with for it offers rare coins for investors and collectors, not to mention that it has been in the business for a number of years and bee an expertise when it comes to rare coin deals.

Symptoms of PMS

Psychological:

    ~Feeling “out of control”
    ~Tearfulness
    ~Depression
    ~Forgetfulness
    ~Exhaustion
    ~Feelings of aggression or anger
    ~Panic attacks
    • Changes in sleep patterns, sex drive and appetite.

    Physical

    ~Headaches/migraine

    Managing PMS

    • Consider attending a yoga class or learning some relaxation techniques
    • Exercise – n. Some women find that regular exercise helps reduce their PMS symptoms (PRODIGY 2002), so aim for three to five 30-minute slots of brisk exercise a week (for example, swimming, cycling or fast walking).

    Remembering Daddy

    Written by on November 15, 2009 – 12:26 am -

Today marks the 2nd year death anniversary of Daddy, we visited him yesterday at the Himlayang Pilipino at Q.C. We woke up as early as 5 a.m to get ready as we don’t want to be caught up in traffic jam, we just commute by riding a bus and a jeepney to be able to get there. Offered prayers and flowers to him and mommy and her parents who were beside them as well. Weather is good as the morning sunshine is kinda cold. Kids only vivid memory of daddy is that he always makes and prepare oatmeal for their breakfast, Gabby could still fully remember their small talks then. Nicco on the other hand was about to learn how to walk and couldn’t talk much then. I know he is happy and smiling wherever he is now, we missed you too daddy!
