Saturday 9: Inside Job

1. When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?

~To become a Lawyer

2. Did you ever pursue that career?

~ Ahaha. nope. end up taking a business course

3. If you are not in that field, what changed?

~ plans

4. What is your current job?

~ Office staff

5. What’s the best part of what you do?

~ blog even at work. whoa!

6. Do you have plans to do something else down the road?

~ Yup. finding a new job, something that I can really use my skills.

7. How did you get your present job? If you are a stay at home mom, how long did you need to plan that move?

~ browse through online jobs.

8. Did your parents influence your choices of jobs over the years?

~ Nope

9. What advice would you give your children on careers?

~ Find the one that you will enjoy so you wont find your job a stressful work but an enjoyable activity.

Melbourne Cup

Relatives from other countries have been calling us since they heard what happened about three weeks ago when typhoon Ondoy struck the NCR. My SIL who is based in Australia was really saddened when she saw the damaged to our furniture an appliances though still very thankful that we are all okay. She told DH that Melbourne Cup is about to start in a couple of weeks from now and they are going to Melbourne to be part of its annual cultural tradition of the Australians, especially that his hubby is a very big fan of it.

I remember our late FIL who used to witness the said event yearly then, He said that it is a must see event as many people from different countries were participating too. This horse racing event even entails him to always get the latest Melbourne Cup Form Guide and place his bet. DH was very eager to fly to Australia to see and witness it too as he is also a fanatic of horse racing here in our country and watching it would definitely be one of his most treasured experience.
