Car Allowances on Company
Written by on October 28, 2009It’s been almost three years since I last worked for a car dealer company, I really enjoyed the eight months working for the company, had to leave then because I was just under a third party employment agency. My co-workers, previous bosses are really appreciative for every single favor I made for them which in return inspired me to work harder and learned a lot. One of the many benefits that you may get out of working in big companies is getting a Car Allowance, being a department secretary back then entails me to record and collect all my service manager’s receipts of his gas and travel expenses, including meal allowances that are company related dining affairs/ meetings and file them all in excel for monthly submission to the accounting department for reimbursement. I think it is a very good idea for companies to issue car allowances for their employees which is also beneficial on both parties. It will be easier for employees to have car allowances since we all know how hard it is becoming a mobile employee, the employer will be the one to pay for the fuel costs covering travels intended for company use. The employee however can use the vehicle for his personal use but will have to incur the fuel cost as his personal expense since it is not covered on the said allowance which is beneficial too since he doesn’t have to rent or commute for is personal travels since he can use the vehicle that is cost savings.
