A Gift Idea
Written by on February 25, 2009I saw my former boss this morning on my way to a bus stop as I headed to the office. We had a little conversation as we wait for the bus. He told me that he might be selling all of their assets here in our country and settle abroad for good. I remember those days while I work for him as a secretary/ office assistant, the job was quite a challenge for it’s not the typical office set up where you are just to stay at your desk and waits for the 5 ‘o clock to tick! The job is multi-tasking which made us so flexible and gets to beat around a lot of deadlines.
He is such a nice boss actually, He is a retired general that is why his way of style in handling his employees is like military type wherein he would always want us to observe discipline and promptness in the output of work. And whenever he gets angry, he would always light up a cigar and walks around. I am thinking of giving him one of those Humidors as a gift which would be an addition to his collections. I know he will be delighted to receive one. It also serves as a token of my appreciation for all the things I’ve learned from him.
