Written by on January 18, 2009 – 12:03 pm -

Do you see cloudy forms or see fogs that makes your eyesight blurry? or some spots that you see and couldn’t focus on what you are looking at? these are some distracting Eye Floaters that could have been bothering you for quite sometime now. If a spot or shadowy shape passes in front of your field of vision or to the side, you are seeing a floater. Because they are inside your eye, they move with your eyes when you try to see them. You may also see flashes of light.

What is Eye Floaters? Floaters are actually tiny clumps of gel or cells inside the vitreous, the clear jelly-like fluid that fills the inside of your eye. These are common to people who are nearsighted, have undergone cataract surgery, have had inflammation inside the eye, had laser surgery of the eye. These spots and floaters in the eye are harmless and merely annoying. Many will fade over time and become less bothersome which led the doctors consider it as just a minor thing to deal with.

But for people who are distracted by this and are having so much difficulty dealing with their lives because of eye floaters. This needs a solution for them to be able to go normally with their lives. As we all know small thing led to creating an impact which takes into bigger things, If we will just let it stay that way this could lead to a worse scenario. Or we could just ignore the symptoms and forever suffer from it. Not quite good decision right? There is this site which offers a secret cure to Eye Floaters. Many have attested to the effectiveness of this cure to get rid of the eye floaters forever. Many success stories have been shared here and which seems to be interesting for all this symptoms will disappear in a weeks time as they claim.

I have been waiting for this day to arrive, for it means last day of work for this week and payday! .

I have some office tasks that needs to accomplish today:
  • follow up collections
  • payroll
  • bank transactions

Not quite a hassle since I’m done with paying SSS, Philhealth, Pag-ibig contributions last week. Tax payment was done yesterday too! so it means I have plenty of time to go online and do updates on my blogs and search for some rave clothing online which I think is now the fashion trend.

Nice board game

Written by on January 15, 2009 – 2:55 am -

Kids got this gift last Christmas, but I think it’s too early for them to play this one. the wooden contents is nice which reminds me of my wooden toys when I was young. This seems new to me as the last board game I used to play with when I was young was Snake and Ladders!

Family Games quoridor classic

Contents:
– one board with 81 squares;
– two storage slots for the fences;
– 20 fences and 4 pawns.

PURPOSE OF THE GAME

To be the first to reach the line opposite to one’s base line (Fig.7).

RULES FOR 2 PLAYERS
When the game starts the fences are placed in their storage area (10 for each player).
Each player places his pawn in the centre of his base line (fig.1).
A draw will determine who starts first.

How To Play The Game Quoridor:
Each player in turn, chooses to move his pawn or to put up one of his fences.
When he has run out of fences, the player must move his pawn.

Pawn moves
The pawns are moved one square at a time, horizontally or vertically, forwards or backwards (fig.2).
The pawns must get around the fences (fig.3).

Positioning of the fences
The fences must be placed between 2 sets of 2 squares (fig.4).
The fences can be used to facilitate the player’s progress or to impede that of the opponent, however, an acess to the goal line must always be left open (fig.5).

Face to face
When two pawns face each other on neighbouring squares which are not separated by a fence, the player whose turn it is can jump the opponent’s pawn (and place himself behind him), thus advancing an extra square (fig.6). If there is a fence behind the said pawn, the player can place his pawn to the left or the right of the other pawn (fig.8 and 9).

END OF GAME
The first player who reaches one of the 9 squares opposite his base line is the winner (fig. 7).

TIME OF GAME
From 10 to 20 minutes.
In a tournament, it possible to allocate a set time to each player.

RULES FOR 4 PLAYERS
When the game starts, the 4 pawns are placed in the centre of each of the sides of the board and each player is given 5 fences.
The rules are identical to those for two players, but it is forbidden to jump more than one pawn (fig.10).

Another week ahead

Written by on January 12, 2009 – 2:08 am -

and I am already getting tired on the monotony of my everyday schedule.

HOME…WORK…… HOME……. WORK………

I hate to complain but I just couldn’t help it. It’s just the beginning of the year, what more on the following days and weeks. I want to leave my job now. What keeps me happy in this work is my unlimited time to blog. LOL! But seriously speaking I don’t think I am growing here career wise. No chance for promotion, no challenge, no salary increase. Everything is so predictable I tell you.

But I think I need to see things on a brighter side. I am lucky enough that I still have a “job”. Others don’t have! sometimes, I just want to become a stay at home mom. Work from home perhaps, but resources are not enough though I am earning from my blog. I even don’t have computer or laptop at home. I guess I just need to be patient and find contentment here for a while.
