Congratulations Gia!

Gia ( Ian’s niece) won the 1st place in Korean Speech Contest held at UP Diliman Q.C last November 26. We even had a dinner celebration at home here. prize includes P8,000 cash and a 3 mos. trip to Korea. How’s that huh?!

Korean wave, reaching the Philippine shores)’를 발표하며 ‘가을동화’ 노래 주제가를 불러 박수를 받았다. 한국인도 제대로 발음하기 어려운 ‘간장공장공장장…’을 무리 없이 발음한 Balaguer. Gianina Carla양 (1등 수상)은 ‘한국 연속극이 내 인생에 미치는 다섯 가지 영향(Five significant influence of korea drama to my life)에서 한류의 선봉에 선 한국 드라마의 힘과 영향에 대해 발표했다.

‘나는 한식 요리사(I’m a Korean chef)란 주제를 발표한 Remeros, Airo양(2등 수상)은 식탁과 요리 부재료까지 들고 나와 건강식으로 각광받고 있는 한국요리의 멋과 맛에 대해 발표해 눈길을 끌었다. 마지막으로 돋보이는 유머감각을 선보인 De Luna, Joven군(성결대 학생, 4등과 아차상 수상)은 ‘소설속의 여인을 꿈꾸며(I Dream of a girl in a novel)’를 발표해 관객들로 부터 많은 폭소와 박수를 받았다.

Nice Playing Table

I am not lucky when in comes to gambling. I don’t play cause I know that I am not good at it. But I love seeing friends and even family members who really have the so called “it” when it comes to playing. How I miss those days when we were all still single in the family. My brother, the eldes in the family who always take the lead and the starter of playing games. Though I am always the loser, I really enjoyed those times for it serves as a bonding moments for all of us.

It’s been quite awhile since we last bonded, and it’s not a surprise anymore if Big bro wanted us to play. But then again our Table needs a new replacement since it has been so long since we played on it. The old one was not suitable anymore to be used though it has a sentimental value especially to him. I have searched over the net to find any sites that supplies a PokerTables. Good thing that american gaming supply has so many stocks with them that readily available anytime. An are offering a discount on wholesale purchase. My brother will defintely be a one happy person to find out this great site. He is also having thoughts on putting up a some kinda gaming business if and when he has all the necessary resources. But is also trying to create a study still regarding this matter.
